Before heading to the Austin drome yesterday, I visited McKinney Falls State Park inwards the southeastern quadrant of the city. There, Onion Creek has sliced a channel through the Cretaceous limestone that underlies the region, exposing wide expanses of that bedrock too dropping over ii scenic waterfalls (the Upper too Lower McKinney Falls).
